General Education Requirements Checklist

I.     SCIENCE & MATHEMATICS (3 courses total)

Science:

Two courses in science, both with labs. Non-science majors may complete this requirement by taking two “natural science” courses: one in physical and one in biological science, both with labs.

Math:

Calculus or Discrete Mathematics (Math 30 or higher, or Math 50).

II.     FOREIGN LANGUAGE, LITERARY ANALYSIS, and CIVILIZATION (Minimum of 3 courses)

Language: Third college semester of a foreign language or equivalent

Literature 10: Literary Analysis and Composition or approved substitute

III.     HUMANITIES (Minimum of 2 courses)
